our holiday

Tuesday before thanksgiving my parents and younger siblings came out to omaha to spend the holiday and to Gray be blessed. we had a blast, or at least i did:) i love hanging out with them, they are the best! my little camera broke a few months ago so all i have is my great big one. not complaining but its a little hard to lug around a separate bag for it so i hardly ever have a camera around when i need one. anyway my mom took lots of picture from the blessing and thanksgiving week so when i get them from her i will be sure to post more. so until then here are just few i did take of gray after his blessing..

Cousins Bunk, Gravy & Bugs..horrible day to try and get pictures, Brig never stops licking his lips hence his raw chin and he fell at target onto our shopping cart and got a black eye not to mention that Flynn and Brig both missed their naps and Gray had completely had it with everything..so this was the best picture of the three i could get:)

posing for momma

aawwww such a sweetie

trying out his mack daddy grin.. pretty dang cute id say:)

we cant get enough of him

A quick picture with all my family before they left to go back home. worst picture but i love it & i love them!

fun video= super good laugh

my sister Brooke posted this on my facebook page. it kills me! i laugh everytime i watch it, i think its seeing my dad dance maybe:).. Brig asks to watch it a million times a day so i thought id post it on our blog so i dont have to flip through facebook every time to find it. Grays picture is a profile shot so he looks a little nuts-o-!

Halloween in IA

for halloween this year we went to Iowa city to visit my sister Brooke and her family. they have a little boy just a couple weeks younger than Brig and they are best buds so its super fun to have them get together.. especially for holidays! This first picture is all of us before we headed out for some good ol' trick-or-treating. Flynn my nephew is the m&m, Brig was a scooby doo monster..aka a skeleton:) and gray was a bear. it was so cute watching the little boys march up too doors all by them selves. Most doors they forgot to say trick or treat and just started grabbing candy and usually when the door opened Brig just walked right in. crazy kid! I think every holiday gets better the older briggy boy gets, its the best watching his excitement and hearing him talk about things. This time of year has always been my favorite. I cant get enough of the holiday season, especially having little kids..they just make everything better:)
they thought they needed to hold hands when going up hills and stairs.. extra support i guess:)
My little bugs.. he loved trying to scare people with his mask, funny how big and scary a little costume can make ya feel. ha
Horrible awkward picture but its a family one non the less..
taken before brig would come stand by us
Baby munch was originally gonna be a cowboy. i have a super cute hat and boots but with it being so cold i just kept him in his little cover suit. which just happened to have bear ears.. so we painted on a little nose and whiskers and walla..

funniest boys in the world. or should i say scariest? yes even Flynn, he was sure he was scary even though he was a blue M&M:)
I uploaded these backwards, here is Briggy boy before we left for the night sporting his costume with pride!

a little love for my parents..(they are having withdrawls and needed more pictures)

Munch is really filling out, he is becoming a royal chunk! this is how he is during belly time.. he absolutely loves it!

Here is his silly little smile. he is so funny. his smile looks so mischievous! sorry they aren't very good pictures of him smiling but its not the easiest thing to catch

and this is our Gray.. always has his little eyes as wide as he can get um.. not wanting to miss much i guess:)

Our DELICIOUS spider cupcakes.. thanks mom for the idea!
they were SO cute and fun to make, the best part was watching brig try not to eat everything and actually decorate. that takes a lot of will power for a two year old! haha

Finally getting to enjoy!

and man did he enjoy it:)

brig went with seth after school to pick out our pumpkins, he of course picked a green one for me and a goofy bumpy one for seth.. silly bug. He wanted me to make a scary one and seth and him to make a nice one..

this is the results he got.. luckily he didn't have too high of expectations:) we are horrible at it but its the time spent together doing it and the memories right?

Valas pumpkin patch

Yesterday Seth got off early from the hospital and it was 75 degrees and lets be honest we are to say the least cooped up! So.. we loaded up the kids, yes even the little smunch and headed out for some fresh air. it was awesome! we actually got out of the city (yippie!!)and went to Valas pumpkin patch. they had a TON of things for families and little kids to do like hay rack rides, pumpkin picking (of course), little snack shacks and restaurants, concerts put on by you name it.. mummies- pirates etc, train rides, huge jumping pillow things(i have no idea what they are called never seen them before in my life), apple orchard, corn pits, bon fire pits, pig races, camels, goats and bunnies and i could go on and on! Brig mostly just walked really really slow and stared at all the crazy stuff, his very favorite thing there was the corn pit. if we go again we will go straight there and most likely not leave that spot:) he was in 7Th heaven!

Me, Brig & Gray

Briggy wouldn't let me take pictures of him so i made Seth sit with him for one!

climbing in a enormous spider web. it was such a cute idea Brig loved it

and the highlight of Briggys day.. The corn pit! it was basically just like a huge sand box only instead it was tons and tons of dried corn.

yes i was in the seventies but the baby was all bundled up so naturally he needed to be too:) he just got this new winter hat and has DYING for it to snow so he can wear it and Santa can come!

My boys.. feels so crazy to say that!

Gray given me a little grin, he doesn't love the camera flash much:)

so so sleepy in his car seat. week two he finally gained all his birth weight back and a little more so he is plumping up! he weighted 8 lbs 7 oz. at his apt. he has had some crazy reflux going on so we just started him on some medication that will helpfully help.

Brig is all buisiness when it comes to holding the baby and little runt always with a very menacing smirk:)

brig wanted to lay by Gray for a picture so i told him to freeze for a minute, he obviously took that as become stiff as a board.. notice his fingers:) such a goof. Briggy is the best big brother its so much fun watching him with Gray. he is so protective and is always saying " hey there little guy"," i sure love him".. i love it!

Baby Gray

this is one of my favorite pictures of all time. maybe its jus the mom in me coming out but hey..i still had to share it. These letters i had hanging in Brigs room in wv. when we moved and unpacked he found them and they basically became part of his letters practice seeing how they haven't made it on the wall or back into a box. this is how i found them on the family room floor the other day. I was so impressed and thought it was so cute how yes the letters are all in the right place but there is just enough of a reminder that he is still just two to it. love my baby boys:)

He is finally here!

This past wednesday we went to the hospital and for Danis scheduled c-section. Everything went well and Dani had a much easier time with this delivery. She did great but will still be in the hospital until saturday. We are planning on naming the baby Graysen Norm, I think. That is the only name that has stuck so far. He is a real good looking kid... we all think he looks like briggys baby pictures. The nurses said he was LGA, large for gestational age, but Dani already knew that. He weighed in at 8 lbs and 3 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. Here are some pictures

I promise to post some more

the catch up.. here goes!

well we are in and somewhat settled into our new place here in omaha. it has again been a big adjustment but hey it will be a huge blessing in the end of all this schooling so im not complaining. we have been scrambling trying to get everythin in order for our newest little guy and are finally feeling ready. we go in wed morning at 5:30 am.. i know crazy early but i figure i most likely wont be sleeping anyway so it will be ok. I am lets just say beyond nervous about the surgery but feel really confident in my Dr and hopefully our prayeres will be answered and it will go smoother than our last go around. here are some random pictures from this summer. we will be sure to post some of our newest little one asap.. that is if seth can figure out the whole blogging thing, if not i'll try my best to get some up.

sickest picture of all time but we didn't take many this pregnancy so here is our baby at 24 weeks
right before we moved from west virginia. funny that i felt huge THEN!

Brig running around sportin his tighties while i pack up our house

Brigs contribution to loading our moving truck..so funny i had to take a pic!

family picture outside our house in WV. we miss our place and friends there it was so much fun and not to mention Beautiful.

Briggy boy playing in rain puddles in omaha. im still trying to get used to the night storms out here.. im a huge chicken:)

getting so big

Playing with daddy in a pool to TRY and cool off from the heat and humidity..yuck! im definitely a mountain momma:)

My baby boy all zonked out.. i love stealing peeks while he is sleeping, he somehow still seems like my baby when he is sleeping. i guess its his missing voice that never stops and resembles a 6 year old that makes him seem too grown up.

tough guy pose by his and papas bikes.. he only wishes his were as big and tough:)

playing police man at Grandma Keisers house

He is all about giving tookets, yep thats right.. took-ets as he calls them!

wishing he was big enough to go with dad to school. He is getting so tall and growing up i can't believe how long and lean he is.

for the record we DO NOT make him wear this helmet. i guess im a little country but i am all about little boys being rugged tough and sure having a scar or two to show off but he loves this helmet so.. we look like good parents:) he thinks he is the man riding around the block like all the big kids he see's.
