Our family has had an interesting and crazy stressful semester, (I just caught myself haha..i suppose after so much schooling i no longer think in months..only semesters:):) but I guess whats new? Seth has two weeks left of medical school....that's right TWO WEEKS!!! YAY, we both thought at times this day would never come. He has chosen Anesthesiology as his specialty and he is SO very excited about it. He had the hardest time deciding what it was he wanted to do with his medical education and he finally found it during his last rotation before match day. stressful for me but not for Seth he likes cutting things close! he is such a turd, I strongly think I will have gray hair and humongous bags under my eyes from him far before I would because of our kids:)! He would probably agree. We are moving in a few weeks to Honolulu HI for his surgery preliminary yr then we will be back in Omaha NE for three more years of Anesthesia training. We are officially half way down this long long road!
Brig- Briggy Boy- bugs- boot scoot-piss
Brig just turned four but likes to think he is more like 30 or 40:) seriously. He has the biggest heart but is also the biggest boss I have ever met! haha He is the most obedient boy in the world luckily for us and he intends to make sure everyone else he comes in contact with does just what they are supposed to as well..part of our family or not:) He is definitely our cautious child that thinks everything through. He is always talking and asking questions trying to figure out exactly how everything works. Brig loves his baby brother and is enjoying the fact that Gray can play more big boy stuff now. Brig is still leaps and bounds more smart than I ever was.. haha or maybe still am! He knows all his letters and writes several words on his own. He can write and spell everyone in our families names and is SO proud of himself for that! he can count to 1000 all by himself and we are about to begin working on reading ..well see how it goes.. He has learned the first 8 articles of faith and is working on #9! Briggy still loves to be the fastest and toughest, competitive as ever!
Gray-Gravy- fuzz- little fuzz- creature
Gray is 18 mo! Crazy! He seems to be growing up so much faster than Brig did. He is our adventurous one, jumping off and climbing onto everything, not a fear in the world. He reminds me of the Tasmanian devil with how fast he is..only behind him he ALWAYS leaves a trail of disaster. We laugh constantly because he is either hugging and loving you or chucking some toy at your head, and let me tell you..little boy had AN ARM! But i suppose that is fair..it wouldn't be normal to have two boys and have them both calm and orderly..right?:) He is the sweetest little bug, so full of loves, and is adored by us all every second of every day.. my favorite thing ever is the face he pulls when brig says to him" I love you Gray, you are stinking cute baby". He gets this look like that's right I am.. all the while trying not to smile:) turkey! He is a mommas boy through and through which is amazingly fun for me after trying to convince Brig that i am not that bad for three yrs! (he is daddy and grandmas boy!) Gray is starting to talk a ton! He is pretty much trying to copy everything we say, its so fun to hear him say new words and it seems like every day he is rambling off a few new ones. His favorite thing to say currently is "no way!" I have to say its ours too cause it is so dang cute. We are babysitting my oldest sisters dog this week and this morning it licked Gray, his immediate reply was, "EWE! No way meow meow!" meow because gray insists that that's the noise ALL animals make:) who knows...
Gray has super curly hair like Brig did, only this time i have vowed to not cut it besides trimming the unruly long areas. I am enjoying these wispy curls as long as i can!
