addition to last post..please keep scrolling down

these were on my phone and finally sent to my email so i could upload them. Brig has gotten into a horrible habit of getting up around six am, sure that's not ridiculously early but when both boys have RSV and ear infections and we have been up every hour throughout the night, six is WAY too early! so needless to say he gets up at six by himself:) he usually jut goes into the to room, watches cartoons or climbs all over me until i finally give up trying to catch any sleep. This morning however when i drug myself out of bed this is what i found..

yes that's right he is eating a whole cube of butter! NASTY! apparently 8:00 is not early enough for his breakfast anymore!

i was trying so hard not to laugh as i took this..check out the teeth marks! ugh

the mangled cube i had to pry out of his greasy paws

this is just a picture of our sick little man sleeping. he thinks he is completely grown but as long as he sleeps like this, i will know otherwise:) poor little bug has been sick like Gray all month..i cant wait to have healthy boys again!

this is just his new thing, hang signs.. and yes he does do the bird! he has no idea what it means and we are still trying to figure out where he even picked up on it! not good!

a month of pure craziness!

So i do this every time i post and always put the pictures i wanted to start with at the bottom..frustrating but oh well at least they are all on here right? We have had one of those months.. it seems like since our Christmas break things have gotten all outta whack again..aka..two year old (i guess he is technically 3 now) having to reajust once again to not being the center of attention, me having to remember how to be a single mommy again, Brigs big # 3 birthday plans that didnt work out, and lots and lots of sickness..i swear we might not even have immune systems:) All the while our baby is forgetting he is our BABY. he is literally just barely four months old and already scoots his way off of everything and pops himself out of his bumbo. its seat straps and full surveillance for that little man! anywho, i have been meaning to update for a while, even though im pretty sure no one even checks our blog anymore. still its good for me to write and share events in my life, i guess you could say (lame as it is) that its one of my "outs" from everyday life. and even though no one talks back to me, for the few minutes i am blogging and thinking of what to write i feel like i am having the tiniest tiny est adult conversation, which in my life is priceless! if that makes any sense?!

Throughout the month it seems like we have had moments where we feel at the end of our ropes and also moments where everything seems to be falling into place and perfectly. welcome to life i suppose:) Seth is narrowing down his options for his specialty and this has been both stressful yet very comforting to know we are almost to the point of knowing where are lives are going to be going. i am beyond ready to start planning.. looking into options as far as city's we might be moving to, housing options, schooling options for brig, I CANNOT BELIEVE WE ARE ALMOST TO THAT POINT IN OUR LIVES! and most importantly where we will hope to set stakes and begin "real" life as a family.

Baby Gravy has had one heck of a month. lets see it started with a cold, then to a stomach bug then to starting to teeth (ALREADY!), and finally to good ol' RSV. luckily he is a big chunk of a baby (95 percentile! ) so he wasnt hospitalized, we were able to bring him home and do treatments here. He is such a happy little boy he just smiles and is a complete trooper.

here is our little buster all ready for bed in his snuggli and the nebulizer

we tried rice cereal for the first time. he was excited at first to see a spoon of something coming his way..then he tasted it:) he is not a fan by any means! im pretty sure he would like to skip to the good stuff were eating and forget all about this baby stuff!

He is such a yummy babe

Brigham and Graysen "just chillerin" as brig says it..thanks to uncle mike for teaching him to use slang:)

For Brigs birthday we had made plans to take him to an indoor swim park here in Omaha. Its such a cute place but expensive for our poor mans budget so we thought a birthday was a perfect time to slurge for him. This didnt end up working out and luckily we hadn't said anything to him about going so i scrambled to find something else that would be super fun for him on his special day. im not usually a huge birthday person and rare to go nuts for them but when its your kids its different. especially this year, with a new baby and brig having a hard time adjusting i felt like he needed to be the center of everything for a day. we ended up going to a husker basketball game, it was really fun. unfortunately not a husker football game or he would have been in heaven. we got him a big hand to wear that said 'corn born" (even though he isnt) it was funny to see such a little man waving and jumping around with it. And of course we had to get cheek tatoos! i thought he would go nuts over them but he didnt, he asked all day to put them on then once i finally did before the game he tried the ENTIRE time to get them back off..oh well i though he looked adorable in them. here is a little taste of how the day went..when asked where he wanted to eat he said "i dont want food, im never gonna eat food!" at the game we asked is this so fun Briggy?.. he responded "no its not fun!" I learned that you can never please a boy tangling with the terrible two's, but at least we had a fun day out as a family and he enjoyed his presents and cake:)

in the car on the way home i was looking through my camera and Brig noticed majority of the pictures were of Gray. i had to explain that that's what happens when you hide and pout when i try to take pictures, i think he could tell i was disappointed he didn't have fun so he decided he wanted to be happy and smile for pictures. he was going crazy saying take a picture of me doing this mom and take a picture of me doing that..such a clown but we sure do love him!

haha poor gray!

it was SSSOOO loud in there! brig sat like this every time the opposing student croud would chant.. it was too funny. He would do this then turn and look at them almost in awe that people could make such noise!

these two are some of my very favorite pictures of both Brig and Gray, cuties!

V is for vacation!

the past two years we have lived in WV and have at most gotten three inches of snow. it was hard to feel festive during the holidays when its anywhere from fifty- seventy degrees outside. Especially when your used to ice cold wyoming winters with tons of snow. Well this year we of course moved because lets face it thats what we do best! we moved to the flat land.. aka..Nebraska. Seth had always said Nebraska has horrible winters blah blah blah.. i never bought it, i always though yeah right like it can beat a few feet of snow and -45 degree weather (which is what i was used to coming from Wyo) Let me just say..I WAS WRONG! no it never gets down to -45 but iit does get windy, and cold windy is SO much WORSE than dry cold. best way to describe SV cold v.s Omaha cold.. SV below freezing makes your bones ache and almost makes moving feel slow motion, Omaha below freezing bites you.. literally bites. ever had a mole removed? ya know when its so cold it burns.. yeah welcome to Omaha! It doesn't slow you down, it speeds you up. i swear everyone outside runs to get back inside..kinda funny. these are just some pictures from this month and some from our Christmas vacation.. vacation from hospitals, from school, from snow drifts, and from wind:)

Christmas clothes form Grandma and papa.. i cant get over this hat, love love it. and also love Gravys goofy face..such a clown:)

Brig sporting his new "Husker" Helmet and Christmas sleeping bag( cutest things ever!)

Brig thinks he is the next HEISMAN / HUSKER.. and of course daddy really hopes so:) funny story: the other day he was playing in his huskers uniform and he told me he was thirsty, so i got him a bottle of water and he says, mom i cant drink that water im a husker i need a green bottle (like the gatorade bottles all teams use) and then i have to open my mouth and squirt it through my helmet..he may have been a little exposed to football this year:)its so funny to me the things they pick up on.

Gray blown away by this toy.. so cute his eyes practically popped out of his head when we turned it on and the lights started changing colors

sitting in his BUMBO, eating his fingers..

brig opening everything he could find too open..

me and the hubs enjoying time together during the break it was so nice to be able spend time together, we even got to go on a date.. wow i know!! thanks mom and dad for camping out with brig (they slept in sleeping bags on the living room floor with him so he could try out his new sleeping bag) he loved it! and for listening for Gray so we could have a fun night out together.

boys entertaining themselves , Brig is such a tease but Gray doesn't mind, he s always just happy to be big enough to be involved:)
